LaRue Kyle Hill, 78 of Belpre, Ohio died at her residence surrounded by her family on February 21, 2019. She was born on June 23, 1940 in Dorsey, MS and was the daughter of the late Bill T. and Verna Mae Stanley Kyle. She was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, and taught CCD Class at St. Ambrose Catholic church for several years.

She had been a Girl Scout Leader, past President of the Belpre Women’s Club, past President of the Little Hocking Garden Club. She had been a nurse for over 40 years in the Parkersburg and Charleston areas. She enjoyed spending time with her family which included her husband, Dr. William W. Hill, a son, John W. (Staci) Hill of Little Hocking, Ohio, two daughters, Mary K. Martin of Dickerson, MD and Elizabeth A. (David) Kauffman of Lander, WY, eight grandchildren, Matthew & Derek Hill, Kyle & Leslie Martin, Sarah, Rachel, Joshua, and Jacob Kauffman.

Also surviving are one brother and three sisters, Eddie Wayne Kyle, Billie Mae Johnson, Martha Sue Swiney, and Cynthia Kay Farris all of Tupelo, MS and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Gerald Kyle and James D. Kyle. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Father Steve Vallelonga and Father David Huffman as celebrants.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and one hour prior to services on Monday. Christian burial will follow the services in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Little Hocking, Ohio.
