Charley Gene Ramsey, 86, of Davisville, passed away February 10, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 29, 1932 in Webster County, son of the late Miller W. and Dale T. Ramsey. Charley retired from John Manville with over forty years with the company.

He was Baptist by faith. Charley is survived by his wife Evelyn G. Dawson Ramsey, sons David G. Ramsey, Robert L. Ramsey, Steven L Ramsey, daughter Marla K Ramsey, brother James Ramsey, sister Lenora Nichols and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Millard and Clifford Ramsey.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens . Visitation will be 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 on Wednesday and for one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
