Opie Nutter, III, 66, of Parkersburg, WV went home to be with Jesus on Sunday February 24, 2019 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born February 21, 1953 at Gauley Bridge, WV a son of the late Opie Nutter, II and Ruth Mae Nutter. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, going to the gun range and spending time with his family and his dog Max.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 28 years, Barbara Nutter of Parkersburg; two daughters, April (Todd) White of Parma, OH, Danielle (Danny) Kovacs of Broadview Heights, OH; one son, Reed (Mandi) Nutter of Lima, OH; one sister, Hope (Larry) Farley of Chapmanville, WV; one brother Dave (Cheri) Nutter of Medina, OH; six grandchildren, Keirra, Eva and Nolan Kovacs of Broadview Heights, OH, Brandon, Josie and Jessica Bender of Lima, OH, Alie Scarberry of Indiana who was like a daughter to him; nephew Matt Farley of Chapmanville, WV; niece Amanda Dunlap and nephew Dave Nutter, Jr. both of Media, OH; lots of nephews, nieces and a host of friends. He had one special friend who was like a brother to him. Memorial Services will be Friday, March 1, 2019, 2:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home of Parkersburg with Chris Pugh officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
