Tabatha Ann Lane Hemingway, age 32, was born on August 24th, 1985 took the Lord’s hand n May 9, 2018. The greatest fulfillment of her life, were her children.

She will be remembered for her sense of humor, precious heart, bold personality, beautiful character with a strong loving soul. She is preceded in death by her father, Terry Wayne Lane; grandfathers, James Leslie Lane and Hubert Sharpe; and her aunt, Zelda Elizabeth “Bunny” Abbott. Left to cherish her memories; her children, Winter Hemingway, Mike Hemingway, Floyd Forbes and Aden Forbes; her mother, Edna Lane; brother, Terry Abbott (Stephanie); sister, Samantha Abbott Tremann (Edward); grandparents, Abbotts, Sharpe’s and Newby’s; three nieces, three nephews.

Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 501 Interpath Parkway, Elizabeth City, NC. Family and Friends please bring a covered dish for fellowship following the service. Final Care and Compassionate Services are being provided to the Hemingway and connected families, with love, care and uncompromising dignity, by the Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.
