Where I’m going Where I’m going soon I’m goin’ up yonder, I’m goin’ up yonder I’m goin’ up yonder, To be with my Lord” Our beloved, Carol Patricia Fagans Harrell, of 105 Native Dancer Court, Elizabeth City, NC, peacefully transitioned from this earthly life at the blissful age of 61, leaving behind children, a mother, grandchildren, siblings and friends, on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, VA.

The family has elected to commemorate her life on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Galilee Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church, in Elizabeth City, NC with the Elder Dwight Spruill, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow Carol’s celebration in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. Moments of Viewing and Meditation will be held on Wednesday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, Beulah Shaw, 1005 Southern Avenue, Elizabeth City, NC. She leaves 61 years of love and legacy to: four sons, Anthony Fagans, Michael Harrell, Jr., (Tyreka), Arago Harrell and Christopher Harrell, all of Elizabeth City, NC; mother, Beulah Shaw of Elizabeth City, NC; one sister, Beulah Harrell of Elizabeth City, NC; three brothers, Joseph Shaw (Pam) of Florida, Darnell Shaw of Charlotte, NC and Clifford Shaw (Jeanette) of Elizabeth City, NC; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
