M. at Zion Travelers B.C. Mamou, LA. The visitation will be observed from 11:00 A. M. until service time of service at Zion Travelers B.C. with burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Eunice, LA.

Tamekia passed away on February 5, 2019 in Eunice, LA. Tamekia (“MeMe”) Danielle Dupre was born on October 18, 1979 to Janette Guillory & George Dupre Jr She accepted Christ at an early age at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Eunice, LA under the leadership of Rev.

Joshua G. Frank. MeMe attended grade school in Eunice, LA and graduated with the Class of 1997. She was a devoted mother, sister, daughter, aunt, niece, cousin, granddaughter & true friend.

She never met a stranger who was not affected by her loving nature. All who got the chance to know her would say, “She was such a blessing”. She possessed a warm heart, strong mind, and a God-fearing spirit.

Her weakest moments were her strongest moments, and she lived life to the fullest! MeMe never faced a battle she did not claim victory over. Long before gaining her eternal life, she vowed never to be defeated here on Earth.

She gave birth to two beautiful daughters one of which she reunited with on Tuesday. Her unconditional love as a mother nurturing BaeBae attracted other kids and she was known as a mother-like figure to other’s children. MeMe loved all her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and extended family members with all her heart.

They will miss her, tremendously. Mourning her peaceful transition into a beautiful angel are her daughter Nevaeh Lynn Dupre of Eunice, LA; her mother, Jeanette Guillory & her father George Dupre Jr. both of Eunice, LA; her brothers, Darryl (Rhonda) Hinds of Eunice, LA, & Kyries (Anneth) Hebert of Montreal, Quebec; her sisters, Denise (Ike) Rhines of Eunice, LA; La’Daysha (Wesley) Yokum of Crowley, LA; Mishaela Dupre of Baton Rouge, LA; Jamie (Rodrick) Joseph of Eunice, LA; and Fantasia (Johnathon) Stevens of Eunice, LA; her maternal grandparents, Lennes & Mary Ann Guillory of Eunice, LA; her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; her best friend Sheryl Rubin; and host of other family, friends, and godchildren. MeMe was preceded into eternal life and welcomed with open arms by her eldest, loving daughter Miracle L. Dupre-Sampy; her paternal grandparents, George & Gerry Mae Dupre; and her great-nephew Josiah Jones.
