M. at Word Ministries in Eunice, LA. with burial will be in the St. Joseph B.C. Cemetery in Chataignier, LA. Wake service will begin at 9:00 A.M. until time of service.

Herman passed away on March 11, 2019 in Lake Charles, LA. Herman “Boy” Ceasar Sr. was born July 4, 1934 in Eunice, LA to the union of Antoine and Elvina (Poullard) Ceasar. He was united in holy matrimony to Caldonia Anderson on September 29, 1951 and to this union, nine children were born.

Herman loved his family and enjoyed hosting large family gatherings. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Herman was an early riser and could often be find in the garden or attending to his animals.

Cherishing the wonderful memories of his life and carrying on his family’s legacy are his children: Herman (Josephine) Ceasar Jr., Adam Ceasar Sr., Richard (Yvonne) Ceasar Sr., Beverly Gallow, David (Abigail) Ceasar Sr., Kenneth (Stephanie) Ceasar Sr., all of Lake Charles, LA and Brenda (Gregory) Semien of Alexandria, LA, and Laura Davis of Deer Park, TX: his three brothers and three sisters: Preston Ceasar, Joseph Ceasar and Jessie Ceasar, Mary Jones, Genevieve Dentley, and Shirley Malbrough all of Eunice, LA. Also partaking in continuing his legacy are his 42 grandchildren; 106 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by her parents: Antoine and Elvina Ceasar; his wife: Caldonia A. Ceasar; daughter: Betty L. Thomas; two daughter-in-laws: Shirley Ceasar and Elvia Ceasar; three brothers: Charlie Ceasar, Henry Ceasar, and Jimmie Ceasar; one sister: Odelia Edwards.
