Obituary for Taylor Shepherd Jr Taylor Shepherd Jr., age 85, of Columbus, OH, went to be with his Lord on July 16th, 2018. Taylor was born September 12, 1932 in Grayson, KY. Son of the late Taylor and Elizabeth Huff Shepherd.

Taylor was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy since 1982. Preceded in death by first wife of 54 years, Bonnie Darlene Colley Shepherd, sister Dorothy Shepherd Burton, and brother Paul Richard Shepherd. Taylor is survived by his second wife of 9 years, Janice Tabor Shepherd, daughter Kimberly (Rod) Staley of Grayson, KY, daughter Stacy Shepherd of Milan, TN, step-daughter Marie (Mark) Ewing of Delaware, OH, step-son Ray (Amy) Scites of Blacklick, OH, 4 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 sisters and 3 brothers, Margaret (John) Osborne of FL, Annabell (Tracy) Russel of Ashland KY, Flora Burton of Hitchins, KY, Dewey Shepherd of Four Mile, KY, Fred (Dena) Shepherd of Grayson, KY, Fermon (Jeannie) Shepherd of Rattlesnake Ridge, KY, Saphronia (Mike) Willis of Olive Hill, KY, and a host of family and friends that are mourning his passing.

A celebration of life service will be Friday, July 20 at the New Hope Church of God of Prophecy, 1784 East U.S. Hwy 60, Grayson, KY 41143 with Rev. Mark Griffith officiating. Family will receive visitors from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm.
