Obituary for Ann Sheppard Brossman Ann Sheppard Brossman, 89, of Friendship Village in Dublin, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 with loving family by her side. She was born on July 5, 1929 in Florence, South Carolina to the late Russell W. and Ella Marie Sheppard. She was a remarkable mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend and blessed all of us with her gentle, kind spirit and her energy and enthusiasm for life.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband George T. Brossman and sisters Leone Mellin and Shirley Repp. Left to cherish her memory are her children Julie ( Mike ) Hemmerich, Jenny ( Mark ) Frissora, Shirley ( Mark ) Dale, and Mike ( Nicole ) Brossman; grandchildren Megan ( Chris ) Smith, Jennifer ( Mark ) Yost, Cara ( Mike ) Bourassa, Matt ( Julie ) Hemmerich, Nick Hemmerich, Chris Frissora, Lauren ( Mike ) Hedrei, Brent ( Eva ) Frissora, Tess Frissora, Jake ( Becky ) Dale, Trent and Zack Dale, and Will, Avery, and Lane Brossman; and great grandchildren Elise, Grant, Tyler, Lily, Emma, Addison, Brooks, Patrick, Gemma, Kipton, Vivian,and Zelda. Also Ann is survived by dear sisters Sue Massie and Betty Foster and brothers Reason Benjamin ( R.B. ) and William Russell (Bill ) Sheppard as well as other close family and friends.

She graduated from North High School and Ohio State University and was a teacher and insurance underwriter but is best remembered as a mother, homemaker, and volunteer for different causes throughout her life. Ann loved to travel and learn, and enjoyed reading, painting, gardening and taking daily walks. She loved this city, loved the ocean, and was a true Buckeye and Bengal fan.

Ann was happy and very active at Friendship Village in her later years and truly enjoyed all the wonderful friends, staff, and activities there. Per her request, a private family service only will be held to celebrate her life. Please send condolences to www.
