Theodore Mark “Ted” Underwood, Jr., 26, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at his home. Ted was born on April 23, 1992 in Fayetteville. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ted Underwood, Joe Creech, and Mary Ellen Creech.

He is a 2010 graduate of Village Christian Academy and a 2014 graduate of East Carolina University where he majored in Philosophy and a minor in Political Science. He worked at Bragg Mutual Federal Credit Union as the Administrative Services director. He is a self taught guitar player.

Ted was a kind and gentle man who was loved by all that knew him, especially his family and very close friends. Left to cherish Ted’s memory are his parents Mark and Candy Underwood; sister, Ellen Underwood; grandmother, Betty Underwood; uncles, Mike Underwood, Joey Creech, Ken Creech and wife Rose; aunt, Debbie Underwood; and many cousins and extended family. Ted’s funeral service will be at Village Baptist Church, at 10am on Friday, May 25, 2018.

A private family burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Village Baptist Church for Campus Refresh. Online condolences may be made at sullivanshighland.com.
