Ted Wayne Sedlar July 03, 1970 – February 10, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ted Wayne Sedlar, 48, of Houston, went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2019. He was born on July 3, 1970, in Houston, Texas, to Theodore and Eleanor (Henke) Sedlar. He lived all his life in Houston, graduating from Spring Woods High School and only leaving Houston for a short while to attend Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

A dedicated employee, he started working at Al’s Engine & Equipment Wholesalers, Inc. while in High School and continued to do so upon his graduation from college. Ted was an officer of the KJT of St. Jerome’s Catholic Union 121. A fun-loving guy, loved by all of his family and friends, he was a good son, brother, uncle and devoted friend.

He was actively involved with his God Children, Trace, Madison and Wyatt, who lived closed by and called him Uncle Ted. Ted enjoyed dirt bike riding and fishing with his brother Tim and his good friends Hank, Jack & nephew Dylan. He had a love for animals, especially his dog (Ryleigh) and his cat (Kiki).

Ted is survived by: his parents Theodore & Eleanor; brother Tim & his wife Crystal and nephews Dylan & Hayden and niece Baily, sister Tracy & her husband Gabe Nolasco and niece Julia, and nephew Gus. Ted was preceded in death by grandparents, Leo & Viola Henke, and Frank & Julia Sedlar. Funeral Mass Service: 11 am, Monday, Feb.

18, 2019, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (1648 FM 340, Hallettsville, TX 77964), with Visitation starting at 10 am at Church. Pallbearers: Johnny Havel, Leo J. Henke, Jason Jiral, Randy Honish, Matt Harvey, Jack Cummings, Paul Sedlar, and Andy Henke. Honorary Pallbearers: his nieces and nephews, Hank Willis, Kyle Harvey, Eric Burrows, Jeff, Matula, Scott Filip, David Filip, Sherri Grahmann, and Luke Matula.

Officiants: Rev. Niall Holan and Msgr. John Peters.

Memorials (in lieu of flowres): St. Catherine’s of Siena, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church or a charity of your choice. Burial: St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Reception: St. Mary’s Parish Hall immediately following the Interment.
