Teresa Bayard, 61, of Macomb, Illinois, formerly of Venice, Florida passed away at 7 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on September 29, 1957 in Marion, Indiana to Dick and Betty Miller Nelson. She is survived by her mother, Betty Davis of Warren, Indiana; two sons, Wesley (Christie Craft) Bayard of New Orleans, Louisiana and Matt (Jessica Dittman) Bayard of Macomb, Illinois; two grandchildren, Wolfe Bayard and Cecilia Bayard and one brother, Perry Nelson of Warren, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dick Nelson; her brother, Terry Nelson and her sister, Cheryl Nelson. She lived in Venice and surrounding areas all of her life. She worked in the medical field as a CNA.

She was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with family and friends. Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Venice, Florida. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
