Terrie Sue (Schieber-Wade) Bennett, age 59, of South Bend, IN passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 surrounded by her family. Terrie was born on October 23, 1958 in Athens, Alabama, to Arnel Alan and Linda (James) Schieber. On August 2, 1986 in Mishawaka, IN, she married Robert G. Bennett.

Terrie’s greatest love was her family. She attended the Church of Christ. In her youth, she graduated from North Liberty High School and attended Vogue Beauty School.

She was known at LaVille School as a recess aide. Terrie is survived by her husband, Robert G. Bennett of South Bend; children, Jamie (Ian) Wade of Lakeville, IN; Kayla (Randy) Bennett- Holdeman of Lakeville, IN; Shaun (Melissa) Wade of Lakeville, IN; and Jan Michael (Victoria) Bennett of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Parker, Connor, Brody and Austin; step-grandchildren, Phoenix, Latham, Elizabeth, Eve, Anna and Ella; brother, Dean Schieber of Plymouth, IN; sister-in-law, Lori Schieber of Plymouth, IN; her nephews,Travis and Drew; as well as Terrie’s longtime friend, Ginger Bice.

Terrie was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Arnel and Frances Schieber; maternal grandparents, Virgil and Etha James; and her nephews, Cody and Kyle. In keeping with Terrie’s wishes, all services will be held privately. Palmer Funeral Homes–River Park is assisting the Bennett family.
