Terry L. Burgess, 70, of North Charleston, widower of Sandra Eichner Burgess, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2019 at Trident Medical Center. Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Burgess’ visitation on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12 o’clock until hour of funeral service beginning at 1 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville.

Mr. Burgess was born October 15, 1948, in Spartanburg, SC, son of the late Lyman Burgess and Helen Walker Burke. He was self employed in transportation and was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church, Ladson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 1447 Gleason Drive, Ladson, SC 29456.

Survivors include one brother and one daughter: Timothy Burke of Chesnee, SC and Carol Bordwell of North Charleston, one niece and two nephews: Jantana Burke of Chesnee, Burgin Burke of Chesnee and Berry Twork of Columbia; two granddaughters and one great granddaughter; three great nieces and two great nephews.
