Ethel Singletary Chinners, 81, of Summerville, SC, widow of the late Ernest William Chinners, Jr., passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Funeral Services will be Monday afternoon, January 21, 2019 in Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 1 o’clock. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted. Ethel was born July 8, 1937 in Cross, SC, a daughter of the late Ennis Singletary and Eva Justeen Weatherford Singletary.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was a homemaker. She leaves behind her sons, Wendell Chinners, Dale Chinners (Tammy), and Billy Chinners (Tawnya), all of Summerville, SC; daughters, Pat Todd (Mike), Nancy Cheatham, all of Summerville, SC, and Ann Prine (Frank) of Ridgeville, SC; brothers, Ken Singletary (Diane) of Eutawville, SC, Anthony Singletary (Shirley) of Bonneau, SC, and Ricky Singletary (Renee) of Moncks Corner, SC; sisters, Ellen Ott of Holly Hill, SC, Eva Clement of Goose Creek, SC, Barbara Kline (Johnny) of Johns Island, SC, Irene Singletary of Bonneau, SC, and Lynn Gaudig (Greg) of Moncks Corner, SC; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Arrangements by PARKS FUNERAL HOME, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville SC 29483.
