Obituary for Terry Lee Cook Mr. Terry Lee Cook, 69, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at his home. A funeral service is scheduled for 7:00 pm Monday, June 11, 2018, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Andrew Edwards will officiate.

Interment with military graveside rites is scheduled for 1:00 pm Tuesday at Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 pm at Lady’s Funeral Home Monday prior to the service. Mr. Cook was born May 10, 1949 in Salisbury.

He was a son of the late J. C. Cook and Johnsie Basinger Cook. He enjoyed wood working and playing on his PlayStation. He loved his many feline friends.

Mr. Cook retired from Cannon Mills Plant 1, where he was a weaver in the #6 weave room. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the Marines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Childers.

Mr. Cook is survived by two daughters, Maria Moon and Linda Church, both of Kannapolis; three grandchildren, Brent Church, Dustin Church and Sunny Moon; and one sister, Peggy Wellitz of Kannapolis.
