Thelma’s Obituary Thelma Sue Miles, age 73 of Cumberland, KY, departed this life for her heavenly home with her husband by her side on Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Harlan ARH Healthcare. Born October 23, 1945 in Cloverlick to Spencer and Belvia Hall Smith, Sue enjoyed interior decorating and flower arranging and was a Home Interior Distributor for 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Spencer and Belvia Smith; brothers, John, Claude, and Randolph Morris, and Jessie, David, Hayward, and Gary Smith; sisters-in-laws, Hazel Smith, Ann Morris, Loretta Morris and Ruth Morris; and a grandson, Shawn Parker.

She leaves the major joys of her life to cherish her memory, love and compassion; her loving husband and best friend of 60 years, James E. Miles; children, Greg (Payton) Miles and Mark (Lauren) Miles of Cumberland; brothers, Aaron Morris of Russell Springs, KY, Dennis (Claudia) Smith of Wilmore, KY, and Larry (Vickie) Smith of Nicholasville, KY; sisters-in-law, Ginger Smith, Gayno Smith, and Phyllis Smith; grandchildren, Whitney (Trey) Hammons, Madison, Peyton, Gavin, Grant, Audrey, and Jase Miles, Travis (Jenny) Parker, Ashley Parker, and Bailee Jones; great grandchildren, Braylee, Ryker, Cy, Isla, Bella, Chase and Campbell; and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2019, between 4 and 10 pm at the Cumberland Pentecostal Church, Blair, KY. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 2 pm at the church with Reverend Michael Blair and Reverend Leroy Hall officiating.

Interment will follow in the Peaceful Acres Cemetery at Hiram, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. You may leave online condolences for the family at www. tricityfuneralhome.com.
