Thelma Bridgewater, 90, of Bowling Green entered into rest Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab. Thelma was a native of Scott Co., IN and was born January 18, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Inez Pogue, and a brother Bob Pogue.

Thelma was a housewife and a member of First Christian Church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Indiana and The Daughters of American Revaluation. Thelma was a wonderful cook and loved making pies, she was very crafty, loved sewing and loved gardening.

Thelma loved her husband, daughter, son-in-law, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. Survivors include her husband Bobby Bridgewater, daughter Susie Mitchell (Gary), sister Frances Adams and brother Billy Pogue. Two wonderful grandchildren Daniel Ryan Mitchell and Kimberly Brooke Mitchell and great-grandchild Riley Mitchell.

Funeral services will be conducted, Monday, January 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm and Monday, 12:00 pm until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens.
