Floyd C. Gray, Jr., 74, of Bowling Green entered into rest Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Floyd was a native of Corbin, KY and born August 17, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd C. Gray, Sr. and Ella Gregory Stanley.

Floyd was a retired teacher from the Delafield School and Moss Middle School and worked for the Warren Co. Parks and Recreation. He was a member of Fairview Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of U. S. Navy having served in the Vietnam War.

He was dedicated to the children that he taught in school and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Floyd and Glenda loved to travel and he never met a stranger, and was kind, loving person and great since of humor. He coached basketball and football in school, having coached boys and girls.

He was a former member of the Bowling Green-Warren Co. Jaycees. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Glenda (Bilbrey) Gray, two sons Rodney Stephens of Bowling Green and Jeffrey Stephens (Debbie) of Rockfield. Four wonderful grandchildren Keely Anderson (Alex), Danielle Stephens, Angela Kemble (Richard) and Garrett Craig (Joy).

Seven wonderful great-grandchildren Keryan (Bella), Kaine, Haliegh, Anslee, Sophia, Victoria and Eleanor. Funeral services will be Monday, February 4, 2019 at 1:30 pm at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday 10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
