Theodore A. “Ted” Velliquette, 89, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at his residence. Ted was born on November 08, 1928 in Port Clinton, the son of Melvin Joseph and Goldie A. (Cutcher) Velliquette. He started working at the Celotex Corp.

on July 24, 1945 as a yard crew member and worked at several different jobs until he ended up in the Maintenance Department, where he was honored for completing 50 years and 3 months of service with the company. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Those left to cherish his memory are: Loving Wife of 67 years: Shirley C. Velliquette; Sons: Theodore “Joe” (Betty) Velliquette and Terry Velliquette; Daughters: Joanne “Annie” (Dee) Cook and Lorraine (Joe) Harris; 8 Grandchildren: 12 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers: Robert, Sanford “Butch” (Chris), and Larry “Buzzy” (Linda) Velliquette; Sister: Doris Kilgore and his faithful companion, his dog: Tabby. Ted was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Mary Roberts.

. Visitation will be from 2-7:00pm, Friday, July 13, 2018 at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
