OBITUARY Theresa Ann Knotts December 6, 1935 – October 14, 2018 Theresa Ann Knotts, 82, of Carrollton, Ky, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 in Edgewood, Ky. She was born December 6, 1935 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky, the daughter of the late Adam Koch and Emma M. Crawford Koch. She was retired from the Kentucky Department of Parks System as a serving attendant.

She had the pleasure of serving several Governor’s and famous Celebrities throughout her career. She always had a soft spot in her heart for taking care of animals. She is survived by her three daughters, Donna (Donald) Thomas of Milton, KY, Denise(Willie) Vaughn of Monroe, NC and Debbie (Randy) Thaman of Verona, KY; a son, Dennis (Malinda) Knotts of Hanover, IN; Two step-daughters, Marcia (Jerry) Bertram originally from Marion, IN, and Carole (Fred) Andrei originally from Marion, IN; Two sisters, Linda Demoss and Debbie (Mike) Asbury both of Louisville, KY; a brother, Mike (Donna) Koch of Louisville, KY; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, E. Dale Knotts, a sister, Janice Gillingham, brothers, Gene, Ronald and Donald Koch, and granddaughter, Mia Ann Knotts. Funeral Services will be on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00pm- 8:00pm at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Avenue, Carrollton, KY, and from Noon – 2:00pm on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY.

Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Adopt Me Bluegrass Pet Rescue.
