Obituary for Thomas Arnold Thomas E. Arnold, 75, of Tyrone died Tuesday June 26, 2018 at Epworth Manor, Tyrone. He was born October 9, 1942 in Altoona, a son of Edward and Catherine (Houser) Arnold. On June 4, 1963 in Winchester, Virginia he married Catherine S. Shaw.

She died June 15, 2018. Surviving are a daughter, Lori McGovern and husband Gary of Tyrone, four sons; Thomas E. Jr. and wife Karen of Bellevue, Nebraska,, Scott andd wife Amy of Freeport, Mark and wife Kelly of Lebanon, Michael and wife Robin of Enola, eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and a brother-in-law Jim Anderson of Tyrone. He was preceded in death by a sister Sharon Anderson.

Mr. Arnold retired in 2008 from the shipping department of Kunzler Packing, Tyrone following seventeen years service. He previously was employed for Puralator Courier as a driver for twenty years and an insurance agent for Baltimore Life. He was a member and Deacon at Northwood Baptist Chapel, a member of the Board of Trustees of Camp Anderson Corporation and was a leader for Boy Scout Troop 27, Tyrone for twenty years.

Tom was an avid hunter and enjoyed being in the outdoors. He was a loving caretaker for his wife for many years. Funeral services will be held Monday July 2, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Tim Young officiating.

Interment will follow at Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends will be recieved at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 P.M. and on Monday from 10 A.M. until the time of services. Memorial gifts may be made to Camp Anderson Corporation Capital Campaign, P.O. Box 221, Tyrone, Pa.
