Obituary for Thomas J. Chesebrough III Print Thomas J. Chesebrough III, 71, of Erie, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in North Adams, MA, on June 4, 1947, a son of the late Thomas J. Chesebrough Jr. and Lorraine Chesebrough. Tom served in the United States Air Force and later worked for various manufacturing companies, before retiring from Steris.

He enjoyed listening to country and oldies music and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Beverly Kellogg Chesebrough; his daughter Lisa Chesebrough and his son Thomas J. Chesebrough IV, both in infancy. Survivors include his three daughters, Wendy Clemente and her husband Dennis, Robin Chesebrough, Valerie Chesebrough and her fiancé, Derek, all of Erie; his son James T. Chesebrough, of Erie; his step-son, Robert Nejman, of Erie ; his brother Roger Chesebrough and his wife Gloria, of Massachusetts; his sister, Carolyn Chesebrough, of Florida; his six grandchildren, Nicholas Chesebrough, Dennis Rollinger, Dewayne Chesebrough, Felicia Clemente, Daumar Gore, and Haley Nejman; and his 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, 16504. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
