Obituary for Thomas Jason “TJ” Crawford CUMBERLAND – Thomas Jason “TJ” Crawford, age 39, of Cumberland, IN passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 in his home. He was born on April 17, 1978 in Arlington Heights, IL. He graduated from New Palestine High School and continued his education at Indiana University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business.

TJ then attended Purdue University where he received an associate’s degree in turf management. He also served in the United States National Guard. He worked for Cutting Edge Turf Solutions.

TJ loved his dog Minnie, old cars, lawn mowers, and mechanical equipment. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs and Indianapolis Colts fan, and enjoyed car racing, skiing, and scuba diving. TJ is survived by his parents, Thomas E. Crawford and Judith L. Crawford of Cumberland, IN and brother, Kenneth Lee Crawford of Denver, CO.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140, with a funeral service immediately following. Pastor Alan Mark McKinney will be officiating.

Burial will follow at Valley Grove Cemetery in Milton, IN at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to The Christian Benevolent Association- Christian Village Communities, 411 Western Row Rd, Mason, OH 45040, by website at christianvillages.org/donate/, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
