TIMMY DANIEL PENWELL SR. , age 62, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 8:03 p.m. at Mount Carmel West in Columbus. He was born on April 11, 1956 in Fayette County to Harold Lester and Betty Louis Young Penwell.

Timmy had worked in construction for most of his younger years. He enjoyed playing cards, playing the slot machines, and going to the racetrack. Timmy was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rochelle Miller; and brother, Rick Penwell.

Survivors include his children, Danielle Penwell, Timmy D. Jr. (Jacque) Penwell, Heather (Jon) Reed, and Melissa Penwell; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his brother, Jackie Penwell. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In keeping with his family’s wishes, cremation will take place after the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.
