Heider, age 58, of East Amherst, died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at his residence under the care of his family and Hospice. Born October 2, 1960 in North Tonawanda, Tim had been employed as a chef and then became a self employed business developer. He was a devoted animal caregiver who nurtured and loved three dogs at home.

Tim had traveled all over the world. He was the beloved companion of Dawn DeNisco; dear son of James and Priscilla Heider of North Tonawanda; brother of Ronald (Deborah) Heider of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Gregory (Manami) Heider of Dallas, Texas; and uncle of Alex, Jade and Himari Heider. Also survived by many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends after 10 AM on Friday at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where a Prayer Service will be held at 11:30 AM Friday; the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Friends invited.

If desired, memorials to the Hospice Foundation of WNY, PO Box 590, Buffalo, NY 14240, are preferred by the family.
