Obituary for Toni Ann Benedict RICHMOND, Ind. – Toni Ann Benedict, age 74, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Friends Fellowship Community. Born October 29, 1943, in Richmond, Indiana, to Daniel M. and Beulow Coning Wogoman, Toni lived in Wayne County most of her life.

She was a 1962 graduate of Richmond High School and a 1965 graduate of Miami Valley Nursing School. Toni retired from the Richmond State Hospital in 2008, after 38 years of service. She was a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church, Miami Valley Nursing Association, Sweet Adelines Singers, and Psi Iota Xi Beta Chapter.

Toni formerly served as a board member at Hope House and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to laugh and sing. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Phillip Joseph Benedict; twin sons, Brian D. (Lisa) Benedict of Centerville, Indiana, and Bruce L. (Kimm) Benedict of Westminster, Maryland; grandchildren, Jessi, Kristina (Steve) Bosley, Jorden, Skyler, and Dylan Benedict; great-granddaughter, Reighlyn Bosley; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Eileen Wogoman; and brother, Danny Wogoman Jr. Visitation for Toni Ann Benedict will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Dortha Meredith officiating.
