Tonya Anne Shubart, 64, of Newton Falls passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Trumbull Regional Health Care Center. Tonya was born on June 2, 1954 in Harrisburg, PA, the daughter of Henry Earl and Florence Louise (Crone) Shubart. Tonya was a high school graduate.

She was employed with the railroad for twelve years. Tonya enjoyed watching TV and caring for feral cats in her neighborhood. She was a proud member of AA, celebrating ten years of being clean and sober.

There will be no calling hours, cremation has taken place. Memories of Tonya will be carried on by her friends Regina Robinson and Ruth Barger. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
