Obituary for Troy Meade CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Troy Meade, 87, died Friday, October 26, 2018 at Heritage Hall, Wise, Virginia. He was born in Castlewood, Virginia; son of the late Grover and Annie Robinson Meade. He was preceded in death by three brothers, David Alexander “D.

A.” Meade, Paul G. Meade, and Arthur Meade; and five sisters, Loretta Waycaster, Edith Osborne, Marie Hurd, Joyce Ann “Tunnie” Barnette, and Dorothy “Bellene” Jessee. He is survived by one sister, Roberta Osborne of Castlewood, Virginia; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services for Troy Meade will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev.

Cuba Porter and Rev. Roger Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Eric Hurd, Chuck Hurd, Eric Osborne, Lincoln Osborne, and Gus Osborne. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Long, Gary Breeding, and all of Troy’s friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
