Obituary for Van T. Burelison CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Van T. Burelison, age 53, of Centerville, Indiana, died Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Reid Health. Born March 1, 1965, in Saigon, Vietnam, to William and Anh Nguyen Burelison, Van lived in Wayne County most of his life.

He was a 1983 graduate of Centerville High School and earned an associate’s degree in engineering from Trine University. Van served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Visteon for over 23 years and at All American Pawn.

Van loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his son participate in various sports. Survivors include his son, Mitchell Burelison of Richmond; stepson, Marcus (Michelle) Minor of Richmond; grandson, Cameron Minor; parents, William and Anh Burelison of Centerville; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his infant brother. Visitation for Van T. Burelison will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Deacon Jim Miller officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery with military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard. Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www. doanmillsfuneralhome.com.
