Vanessa Lynn (Hyatt) Wiley, 21, of Boynton, PA, died suddenly Wednesday, December 12, 2018, as the result of an automobile accident. Born December 11, 1997, in Somerset, PA, she was the daughter of Shane and Billiejoe (Casebeer) Hyatt, Meyersdale, PA. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Joanne Casebeer and Earl Pritts.

Vanessa was a nursing assistant at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD and a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God, Salisbury, PA. She graduated from Meyersdale Area High School, where she was the Cheerleading Captain, Homecoming Queen, and a Majorette. She attended Vet Tech Institute, Pittsburgh, PA and nursing school at Somerset Co. Technology Center, Somerset.

Along with her parents, she is also survived by her husband, Samuel R. Wiley; one son, Shayne Ray Wiley, at home; her sister and best friend, Chloe Ann Hyatt, Meyersdale; paternal grandparents, James and April Hyatt and Dorena Fay Scott. Friends will be received at the Cornerstone Assembly of God, 8978 Mason-Dixon Hwy. , Boynton, PA 15532, Monday, December 17, 2018, from 9-11 a.m. Funeral services will follow in the church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Scott Gray officiating.

Interment will be in the Salisbury Cemetery. Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy. , Salisbury, is in charge of arrangements.
