Vaughn R. Hostetler, 66, of Palmyra passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 in Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Harrisburg. Born June 5, 1952 in Mount Pleasant, he was the son of the late James R. and Dollie V. (Nedrow) Hostetler. He was a truck driver, having driven for Hershey Meats and Pennsy Supply.

A member of Bindnagle Lutheran Church, Palmyra, Blue/Gray Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America and Palmyra Sportsmen’s Club, he previously served on church council. Surviving are his wife of 41 years Myra Jane (Grubb) Hostetler; sisters Diane L. Summers of Palmyra and Donna L., wife of Douglas Denton of Parkville, MD; three nephews; two nieces; and his beloved pets. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, September 10, 2018 at his church, 801 Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra preceded by a viewing beginning at 9:00 AM.

Interment will be in Bindnagle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bindnagle Lutheran Church, 801 Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra, PA 17078 or Lebanon County Humane Society, 150 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
