Venna J. Viets Brezovsky, 87, of Champion, entered peacefully into eternal rest with her family by her side on November 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born on September 5, 1931 in Southington, the daughter of Harry and Helen Leiby Perks. She was a 1949 graduate of Chalker High School.

Venna married her first husband James Viets June, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1966. Venna married her second husband George Brezovsky in November 1974.

He passed away in 1988. Venna was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, gardening and painting landscapes and flowers. Cherished memories of Venna will be carried on by her son Ed (Deb) Viets of Cortland, daughters Jeri (Richard) Buchwald of Snellville, GA, Jennie (Tom H.) Yekel of Warren, Darla (Mitch) Kehres, eight grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren with one on the way.

Preceding Venna in death were her parents, her husbands, James and George, brother Kenneth Perks, grandsons Jimmy Viets and Jeffrey Cooper, and great grandson Joshua Harris. Family and friends may call on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10 AM to noon at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls. Venna will be laid to rest in the Braceville Township Cemetery.
