Vera Mae Feltz December 21, 1931 – December 27, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Vera Mae Feltz, 87, of Perryville, died on December 27, 2018 at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born December 21, 1931 in Perry County, MO daughter of Valle and Mary Virginia (Taylor) Schweiss. She and Harry J. Feltz were married on September 3, 1960.

He preceded her in death on July 15, 1996. Vera Mae was a secretary at Miraculous Medal Association. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters and one son, Karen L. Feltz of Waianae, Hawaii, Richard A. (Wendy) Feltz of Wildwood, Jane M. (Jeffrey) Wood of St. Peters; and four grandchildren, Danielle, Drew, and Dayton Feltz and Jenna Wood. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Mary Virginia Lewis and Hilda Ann Reiss. Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, December 30 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and on Monday from 6:30 – 9:30 am.

She will then be taken to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 am with Rev. Joe Geders officiating. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or Miraculous Medal Association. Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville, MO provided the arrangements.
