Leesville, La. 71446 Mrs. Booty was born September 12, 1937 to Christopher and Eva Perkins Harrison Jr. in Vernon Parish, La and passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Leesville at the age of 80. Mrs. Booty was a life resident of Leesville where she attended and graduated from LHS class of 1953.

She worked for many years as a nurse’s… Read More » aide at the former Broyles Clinic and Kurthwood Manor Nursing home but her most important role was being a homemaker and mother. She was a master seamstress and could quilt, sew and was a artist having made many special design quilts and knitted blankets for her family. She loved working outdoors in her yard and garden and truly had a green thumb.

For many years she was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church and also Castor Baptist Church and was currently a member of the 4 Winds Cherokee tribe of Lousiana. Preceding her in death was her husband Wilbur A ‘W.A.’ Booty and her parents. Her survivors are; Daniel “Kathy “ Booty of Leesville, Matthew “Regina” Booty of Lafayette, La and Micah Booty of Port Neches, Tx.

Grandchildren: Shanna Faris (Darin), Vanessa Booty, Matthew Booty Jr.(Amber), Jason Booty(Edith), and Adam Williams(Emma). Great Grandchildren : Mason Faris, Kayla Faris, Michael Booty, Rhys, Caden, Callan, Rowan, and Cerys Williams.
