Obituary for Mr. Vernon Homace Bryan Bryan – Vernon H. Bryan, age 86, of Starke, Florida passed away on June 12, 2018 at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Orange Heights, Florida on March 9, 1932. After graduating high school, Vernon joined the United States Marine Corps and proudly served for a few years.

Following his honorable discharge from the military, Vernon served as a Fireman and later at the railroad. He was an amazing man who would do anything for anyone. Vernon was also a devoted husband to the love of his life, Mildred Sumner Bryan.

Vernon and Mildred owned and operated the Trackside Bar in Starke for over 30 years. When Vernon completely retired he enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Mildred Bryan.

Vernon is survived by his 3 step children and his special friends, Kathryn Blanchard, Robert Ford, and James Ford all of Melrose, FL. A Private Celebration of Vernon’s Life will be held later. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services and Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel, Starke, Fl.
