Obituary for Veronica Kocanowski Veronica Kocanowski, “Compassionate and beloved Mother and Grandmother” ,92, of Manville, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018 with her family by her side. Veronica was born on May 28, 1925 in Winbur, Pennsylvania to the late Albert and Victoria Mazur. She was a hard and dedicated worker.
For many years she was a bindery supervisor for a printing company in Dunellen, New Jersey, from which she proudly retired. She was also a long time parishioner of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ the Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ. In addition, she enjoyed her many years with the Hillsborough Senior Citizens Club.
Veronica is survived by her three daughters; Patricia Cebek and her husband Joe, Shirley Bozenski and her husband John, and Ann Marie Christie and her husband Michael. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; Denise Bozenski, Michael Bozenski, Gina Kocanowski, and Shannon Christie. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Peter Kocanowski, Jr., and her son Thomas Kocanowski and by a brother Chester Mazur.
She loved her family and her home. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, crafts and home projects. Her family and friends will always love and remember her for her strong Catholic faith, selfless nature and strong will.
She will be loved and missed forever. The viewing will be on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd. , Manville, NJ.
The Funeral will be on Friday, April 20, 2018 8:00 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ the Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ.
