Vertice Jean Mitchell, 87, of Tucker, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018. The funeral will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Tucker.

Vertice was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clifton “Mitch” Mitchell. Survivors include her son, Curtis Mitchell of Lawrenceville; granddaughter, Suzanne Frankum (Brian) of Buford; great grandsons, Logan and Colin Frankum.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, (770) 564-2726.
