Vicki Jeanette Krambeck April 13, 1958 – January 27, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Vicki Jeanette Eagar Krambeck, age 60, returned home to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on January 27, 2019. Vicki had courageously battled stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer for 11 years and throughout it all, she faced each challenge, setback, and treatment with determination and hope. The disease may have taken her body, but her spirit remained strong until the end.
Vicki was born on April 13, 1958 in Salt Lake City, UT to Douglas Kay Eagar and Constance Vanover Eagar. Her early years were spent in Layton, UT, with her siblings Lisa, Patricia, and Douglas Jr. The family moved to Boise, ID when Vicki was 13, and she graduated from Capital High School and LDS Seminary there. After graduation, Vicki attended Rick’s College in Rexburg, ID, where she was studying to be a concert pianist.
Vicki met her husband, Robert (Bob) Krambeck, and they were married on October 26, 1985 in Amarillo, TX. Together they welcomed their daughter, Kayla, in 1987, and son, Kyle, in 1991. After living in Plano and Graham, they settled in Seguin to continue raising their family.
On May 24, 1997, Bob and Vicki were able to seal their family together for time and all eternity in the Dallas Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Vicki’s greatest joy was her family, and she loved being involved in showing horses with Kayla, and in music with Kyle. Six years ago, she was able to be reunited with her oldest daughter, Melissa, and enjoyed the last few years of spending time with her, her husband, and especially her 4 grandchildren.
Vicki was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and highly valued her relationship with her Heavenly Father. She served in many callings in the church, including seminary teacher and teacher development instructor. Due to her incredible musical talents, she served in many music-related callings in the church.
Those musical talents extended into other areas of her life as well. She accompanied many choirs and singers throughout the years and taught many students piano lessons from her home. Vicki was also a talented seamstress and cook, among many other things, and always used her talents to bless the lives of others.
During her years of cancer treatments, she would bring small gifts to the nurses, receptionists, and other patients. Vicki truly exemplified the Savior’s charge to “Love one another as I have loved you”. Vicki is survived by her husband, Bob Krambeck; daughters Melissa Arakaki (Zuke) and Kayla Krambeck; her son, Kyle Krambeck; sisters Lisa Rouse (Steve) and Patricia Englehorn (Rob); and her four grandchildren, Tyler, Kaiden, Addison, and Alexis; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Constance Eagar, and her younger brother, Douglas Eagar Jr. Funeral services for Vicki will be held on Saturday February 9, 2019 at 11 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1111 E College St., Seguin, TX.
