Obituary for Mr. Victor Rivera Mr. Victor Rivera, 65, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Born in New York, NY on November 30, 1953 the son of Luis and Zizaida Rivera, he graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in New York City. Mr. Rivera was a Licensed Master Electrician.

He had worked for many years for Sound Electric in New York. He was an avid sports fan and loved his New York Mets and New York Jets. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was always making people laugh.

He also enjoyed spending quality time with grandsons Noah Camacho and Jeffery Everett Rivera and dog sitting for his grand pups Pee Wee and Lionel. Mr. Rivera was a communicant of St. Mark’s Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen, whom he married on November 30, 1980 in New York City.

He also leaves his two sons; Jeffery Rivera and his wife Amanda of Williamsburg, VA and Frankie Camacho of Pittsfield; his daughter Jasmine Rivera-Boucher and her husband Michael of Pittsfield; four brothers, Roberto Torres of New York, NY, Jerry Colon of Pittsfield, Julio Colon of Puerto Rico, and David Colon of Puerto Rico; four sisters, Nina Jacobs of Pittsfield, Rosie Torres and her wife Teresa Estrada of Santa Clarita, CA, Norma Rivera of Orlando, FL and Susie Rivera of Orlando, FL; his sister in law, Maria Torres, cousins Rueben Rosario and Delia Rosario; five grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, in-laws, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Hector Rivera and his sister-in-law Virginia Cartagena de Leon. Funeral Notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mr. Victor Rivera will be Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s Church, celebrated by Rev.

Christopher Fedoryshyn, Administrator. Burial will be at a later date in Guyama, Puerto Rico. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASPCA in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 in his memory.
