Obituary of Victor Territo Victor J. Territo, 83, of 1059 Big Tree Sugar Grove Road, passed away peacefully Monday April 16, 2018 in his home. He was born June 20, 1934 in Jamestown the son of the late Charles and Lucy Mattay Territo. Victor graduated from Jamestown High school and went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp.

Returning to Jamestown, he went to work at AVM Corp. and worked road construction around the Kinzua Dam and Chautauqua Lake bridge. In 1968, he graduated from the Spartan Aeronautical School in Tulsa, OK and was an instructor there.

For many years, he maintained several private airplanes at the Jamestown Airport and at Dart Field in Mayville. He also did golf course maintenance at several courses including Jackson Valley and Chautauqua. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Sallie Hayes Territo; three children: Cynthia A. Territo of Las Vegas, NV; Timothy A. Territo; John M. Territo of Redkey, IN; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one step granddaughter; two brothers: Charles Territo Jr. and Theodore Territo both of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1991, his mother in 1972, two brothers, Paul Territo who died July 20, 2010; Richard Territo who died September 21, 2000; and a nephew, Craig S. Territo who died September 9, 2010. The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family in Holy Sepulchere Cemetery.
