OBITUARY Virginia W Morris March 9, 1921 – December 1, 2018 Our beloved mother, Virginia Harrison Weed Morris passed away quickly and peacefully on December 1, 2018. She had many nieces and nephews who loved her also.

“Our mother was blessed to have had the love of two husbands. Marion Francis Weed to whom she was happily married for almost 57 years until his passing in 2000. At age 80, she found love again and married Francis S. Morris.

They had almost ten years together. Following Frank’s passing, we jokingly told her no more husbands! She laughed!

Also surviving are Frank’s daughters, Cathie Candler (Stan), Paula Jordan (Randy) and their families. She was predeceased by her step-daughter, Barbara Kleinrock. Mom had a wonderful life.

She loved her large extended family. She excelled at any craft or hobby she pursued from doll making, sewing, leather tooling, basket weaving to ceramics, to list a few. She loved animals, especially exotic reptiles, the last one being her bearded dragon, Goldie.

Up until the last two years, she walked a mile daily. She had a sweet, feisty nature and a tiny stature. She was special.

Fly with the angels, Mama, we love you”. A celebration of our mother’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her home church, Salem United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the churchyard.
