Obituary for Mrs. Vivian Hendricks McClain Snyder Vivian Hendricks McClain Snyder, 82, of 9129 West Oak Highway, Seneca, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Lila Doyle Nursing Home. A native of Oconee County, SC, Mrs. Snyder was the daughter of the late Quincy Meritt Hendricks and Lucille Rumbler Hendricks. She was twice married, first to the late David McClain, then to the late Dewitt Snyder.

Mrs. Snyder retired from Bi-Lo and was known to be a hardworking woman. She was a member of Seneca Baptist Church. Mrs. Snyder is survived by her son: Brad McClain (Rudi) of Seneca, SC; daughter: Wanda McClain Terry (Jack) of Seneca, SC; brother: Sammy Hendricks (Louise) of Seneca, SC; sisters: Patricia Hendricks Schroder (John) of West Union, SC, Dottie Ann Hendricks Wilson (Jasper) of Lincolnton, NC and Judy Hendricks Dudley of Piedmont, SC; grandchildren: Leslie Hund, Chris Terry, Dillon McClain and Drayton McClain; great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Dakota, Tori, Sydney and Addison.

In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Snyder was preceded in death by her brothers: Don Hendricks, Jerry Hendricks and Barry Hendricks; and sister: Carolyn Hendricks. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 14, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
