Mrs. Vivian Williamson Turnau, 81, of Winston-Salem passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 22, 2019 at her home surrounded by loving family and friends. She was born April 16, 1937 in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Albin Creo and Elizabeth Chaffers Williamson. Mrs. Turnau was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church and was a lifelong teacher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger William Turnau. Survivors include two sons, Ted Turnau and wife Carolyn of Prague, Czech Republic, and Roger Turnau and wife Stephanie of Tallahassee, Florida; five grandchildren, Roger, Claire, Ruth, William, and Nathaniel; and two sisters, Kathleen Drumm and Janet Tresselt of New York. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Hope Presbyterian Church.
