Obituary for Von Glandon Von P. Glandon, age 37, of Washington, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospital. Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. Jim Cluney officiating.
Calling hours will begin at noon on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Interment will be held at a later date. A general memorial has been established.

He graduated from Washington High School in 1999 and from Kirkwood Community College in 2001 with a degree in Automotive Technology. Von had worked for Iowa Bridge and Culvert and most recently was working at Glandon’s West Side Services. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his parents, Terry and Jean Glandon of Washington, IA; sister, Katy Debler and husband Tad of Wellman, IA; brother, Seth Glandon of Washington, IA; nieces and nephews: Elliott and Jacob Debler and Sydnie and Griffin Glandon; grandmother, Aletha Glandon of Washington, IA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert “Smoke” Glandon and Bill and Virginia Cnossen and one uncle, Michael D. Cnossen.
