Obituary for Nancy S. Crawford Nancy S. Crawford, age 61, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Washington County Hospital following a battle with cancer. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date. A private graveside service and interment will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

She graduated from Washington High School in 1974. Nancy was united in marriage to Bob Mills on June 26, 1987 in Keota, Iowa. Nancy was a lifelong resident of Washington.
She worked as a Respiratory Therapist at the Washington County Hospital and as an Assistance to the Podiatrist at Davis Podiatry. Nancy enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and was known as a very social person. She loved gardening and taking care of her roses and truly enjoyed time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jessica Miller of Independence, IA; son, Ryan Mills and wife Jennie of Washington, IA; daughter, Sierra Mills of Washington, IA; daughter, Danielle Mills and significant other Wyatt Murphy of Boone, IA; 7 grandchildren; mother, Janet Crawford of Washington, IA; and siblings: Debbie Ponder and husband Joe of St. Louis, MO; Gary Crawford and wife Kathy of Mt. Pleasant, IA; Mark Crawford and wife Beth of Sheboygan Falls, WI; and Lisa Crawford and husband Roger of Washington, IA; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Dwaine in 2013; husband, Bob in 2009; brother, Ronald Crawford; and one niece.
