Obituary for Voy “Lynn” Morrison Voy “Lynn” Morrison, 62 of Gray, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his home. A native of Washington County, TN he is the son of the late Maynard and Medge (Lewis) Morrison. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his brother, Jack Morrison.

Lynn graduated from Daniel Boone High School. He proudly served his country in the US Army and is formerly employed with S and ME for nearly thirty years. Lynn was a car and motorcycle enthusiast.

He was a great husband, father, and friend and will be deeply missed. Those left to cherish Lynn’s memory include: wife of 31 years, Rachel, of the home; children, Ethan Morrison of Ashville, Kenneth Morrison of Washington State, and Myra Burchett of the home; siblings, Fran Maples of Sulphur Springs, Elliot Morrison of Sulphur Springs, and Doug Morrison of Elizabethton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will gather to receive friends on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6:00 PM until a celebration of Lynn’s life beginning at 7:00 PM at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church, Gray, TN with Dr. Jody Jenkins and Pastor Gary Seaman officiating.
