Obituary of Walter Clos Walter Clos, 96 of Clay, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. He married Mary Elizabeth House on July 21, 1951. Together they raised their daughter, in the home Walt proudly built in Clay, NY.

Walt had a tremendous love of baseball seconded only by love of his family. He worked for Porter Cable for many years and when it was sold worked for Rockwell International for more than 30 years. Walt is proceeded in death by his loving wife Mary in 1999 as well as his 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Walt is survived by his daughter Joan M. Gardner (Tim) of Lafayette, IN and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00pm at the Fraiser -Shepardson Funeral Home, 127 N. Salina St, Syracuse. A time of visitation will be on Monday at the Funeral Home from 11:30 to 1:00pm.

Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Hospice of CNY or Francis House.
