Wanda Ayers Sain, 74, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018, at Davie Place in Mocksville. She was born in Forsyth County October 20, 1943, the daughter of the late Arthur Jacob Gwyn and Gladys Melton Gwyn. She was the widow of Donald Woodrow Sain and also preceded in death by a sister, JoAnne Anthony.

Mrs. Sain retired as a machine operator with Baker Furniture with more than 30 years of service. Prior to their passing, she enjoyed going fishing with her husband, Don, and summer trips to the beach with her sister, JoAnne. She always enjoyed spending time with family.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Creason (Perry) of Mocksville; a step-son, Ray Sain (Tammy) of Mocksville; one brother, Art Gwyn; four grandchildren: Tiffany Johnson (Adam), Kevin Creason (Kayla), Carrie Griffith (Joey) and Brandi Sain; three great grandchildren: Sylas Johnson, Charleston and Jordan Creason; plus several nieces and nephews and “Dixie”, her faithful companion dog. The family will have a private celebration of life service at a later date. Davie Funeral Service is serving the family.
