Wanda Brown Philbeck, 56 of 100-06 Kenwall Village, Shelby, passed away, July 2, 2018 at her residence. Born October 10, 1961 in Forsyth County, she was a daughter of the late Novella Brown. She was previously employed by Carolina Energy.

Survivors include her son, Jason Neal Goode and Debbie Causby of Shelby; mother, Ina Simmons; brothers, Danny Brown and wife, Kathy of China Grove, Steven Ray Green of Texas, James Dean Brown of Boiling Springs, Fred Wagoner of Taylorsville, Chris Brown and wife, Linda of Wilkes County; and sisters, Rebecca Blevins and husband, Dewey of Wilkesboro, Sue Absher of Shelby, Shirley Osborne and husband, Robby of Gallatin, TN and Sandra Stewart of Grover; Jean Shumate of Millers Creek and Marlene Testerman and husband, Jerry of Millers Creek. Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park, Boiling Springs.
